Having an issue with repeat texts.
The problem is originating from my mums phone (Vodafone). At Christmas we both moved onto contracts and purchased the same handsets from vodafone.
My brother and aunt are also on Vodafone but different handsets.
When my mum sends a text to either, me my brother or aunt for example we all receive the texts around 5 to 6 times.
When we text her, she receives the texts multiple times.
The reason I am assuming its something to do with her phone is I can text my brother or aunt without repeats and recieve from them without the problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi
Sometimes a sim swap which moves the mobile number and tariff to a new SIM card can help in these circumstances. Any Vodafone Shop can perform this procedure.
Edit : May I ask which phone is being used.

Hi there,
My best advice here could be that your account may very well be set up incorrectly with the carrier. You might need to go to Settings > Network > Carrier settings and change from Automatic to Manual and back to Automatic. This might correct the issue.
Sometimes this is a glitch, if the above doesn't correct your issue then call Vodafone customer service via 191 and they can correct your settings manually via their systems.
Hope this helps.
