People receive texts multiple time

Everytime I send a text the receipient is receiving the same text from me 3 or 4 times yet on my phone i have only sent it once. I am sending texts to different networks and funny enough none are to Vodafone users. I have recently changed my phone from a Galaxy S3 to the Vodafone Smart 4 Turbo and its since the change that this has been happening.

Is there a setting or something on the phone that can cause this?
