Volume on Vodaphone Prime 7

Have recently got a Vodaphone Prime 7 on contract.   Just learning how to use it!  However though volume is on loudest settings cannot hear the caller without having it on loudspeaker.  Not very discreet

Are you turning up the volume whilst in a call ?

Do you have a screen protector or case fitted which could be hindering the speaker / mic. 

If not then I'd suggest to pop into a Vodafone Highstreet Store where they'll be able to look at it and if necessary send it away if owned over 30 days. 

Alternatively if you've had it under 30 days they should just swap it out for a new one and if that's the same maybe think about another model.

oh dear.   Just realised my screen saver - home made - covers up the speaker !  Will try that!
