WiFi Performance

The WiFi signal from my VF router has an extremely limited range. 35 ft from the router I have virtually zero WiFi signal. Also the B.B. seems to keep dropping out and the VDSL speed has dropped to 13.1 mbits. Is this common?

My suggestion is to change WiFi channel and sometimes splitting the router frequencies to 2.4ghz and 5ghz and choose the best your device likes can help. 

There is also the option to use your own router if you wish.
