My home WiFi has stopped working on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini mobile phone. It tries to connect and then continues scanning. I have tried connecting with WiFi password and using WPS button on router, both fail to work. It has worked fine for around 18 months since I got this phone.
WiFi is via BT Smart Hub. It is working fine for my ipad.
I have tried removing battery and sim card but it has not helped. Can someone please help.
Thank you.

Hi
Have you tried forgetting the network in the phones wifi settings ?
Will your phone connect to other wifi connections such as coffee shops etc ?

I am not sure how forgetting works. I can't find where to do this.
I have access BTWifi-with-Fon on phone bit McAfee blocked me trying it.
I have not tried any other WiFi

Hi, as suggested try connecting to another WiFi and if it won't it's probably a fault on your phone, I had the same issue a few weeks back on my phone (not the same as yours) where WiFi and Bluetooth stopped working, I had to send my phone off for repair as a new motherboard was required.

Hi @MrBig_68
The first thing to try will be a factory reset of the phone.
If you still have a problem with the phone continuing scanning but failing to connect, and will not connect to any other WiFi, it will probably be a problem with your WiFi phone key. This is going to mean contacting Samsung to arrange for a repair.
