Will a Gamma Telecom sim work in phone lock to Vodafone?

We have 4 company old Nokia phones on an automatic topup pay-as-you-go contract with Gama Telecom. I'm planning on buying 4 "Vodafone Smart Minis" which come locked to the Vodafone network.

Since Gama was purchased by Vodafone, will their sim cards work in the Smart Minis?

Although Gamma Telecom will now be using the Vodafone network, they are a virtual operator. Its unlikely a locked Vodafone exclusive phone will work with a Gamma Telecom SIM card.

You would be more an advantage to purchase unlocked SIM free phones where you would be able to use any SIM card.
