Hi,
Looking for some help. My z3 compact dropped from my hand into the sink and was underwater for no more than 1 minute all flaps were fully closed. Now the phone will not start and just vibrates constantly. I am now wondering if it has been water damaged.
From vodafones point of view where do I stand with getting my phone repaired I know from looking online that their policy is liquid damage is not covered but as this phone was sold to me as being water proof does this apply??
Thanks
Michael

Hi,
I would first speak to Sony via Sony Uk Support
some useful information here http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/dm/waterproof/
Vodafone would possibly cite water damage and may charge.

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

You're welcome.
It will be I think down to Sony's interpretation of what's happened.
The act of dropping the phone into the sink may have broken the seal in one of the hung seals.
Alternative options if your not successful is to look to Household Insurance or see if your Bank Account offers cover as one of the perks of the account.
T&C and Fee's will apply.
