can make calls but cannot recieve them

hi,i just got an ifone 4s and registered a £10 bundle on pay as you go.

very strange but not a one off problem here.ive read on loads of boards and forums everytime i do a google search about this

i have an ifone 4s.can make calls but cant recieve any.on all the boards i read lots and lots of people had the same problem,but there was never a conclusion.just a vodafone person was left saying they will look into this more.i need a solution,please tell me youve sorted this out by now.heres a link to one of the message boards,as i said if you google vodafone not working ifone 4s you get loads of results.

Hi,

I can't speak for the forum you've linked to as its not the Uk Vodafone eforum. 

Are the issues linked to all contacts both in your Contacts App and incoming calls that are not in your app. 

Does this happen everywhere? I'm thinking if it's local masts that's causing any issues.

Can you try your Sim Card in another phone as a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at fault.

i can make calls to anybody in my contacts book,but nobody can call me.ive gota spare fone and ive tried to fone it and its just nothing.im going round in circles it isa well known problem,just hope vodafone can get there act together and tell me whats going on,itsa ifone 4s i just registered a new sim coz its a new fone,tried turning it off,synced with itunes just bought a ten pound bundle and still nuffin,itsa joke man

Id then suggest using Live Chat from a Computer just to have your account checked over.

or Browse on the Vodafone Online Shop and choose a highend smartphone which can occasionally invoke the chat window.
