I pre order iPhone 7 plus 128gb on the 9th September at 9.15 there took payment for upfront cost and insurance for said device but stilll not receive it

Its my understanding that Vodafone don't actually take the funds until it's despatched. 

What happens is that a hold is placed on the funds by them through your bank.

Perhaps ring your bank customer service department to check. 

I think you'll find a hold has been placed on the funds and will be taken only on despatch of the iPhone.

No differently credit to my bill as just paid full balance before I realised lol
