iPhone5 keeps turning off

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5 and whenever I have around 40% battery remaing my phone turns off. I was wondering if anyone else has had this and can this be fixed? When I plug my charger in my phone comes back on straight away and it shows around 40% battery. This is rather annoying!

Try a reset by holding the home button and power button in together until the Apple logo appears and then let go of both.

If that does not help then an Apple store can help but it has a 12 month manufacturing warranty on the iPhone unless it was supplied by Vodafone then they have changed their Terms to apply a 24 month warranty.

More info here > When-I-buy-a-device-from-Vodafone-how-long-does-the-warranty-last-and-what-does-it-cover.

This wouldn't cover issues caused by a drop or water damage.

My partner has just had an iPhone battery replaced in her iPhone 5 as it's out if warranty and cost £45.
