Box has been on for 2 days. red light is on and internet light is blinking. chat session with vodaphone yesterday resulted in reset of sure signal from the vodaphone end. no change

Was the SS bought new from Vodafone ?
If a resync hadn’t worked and your Home Broadband speeds are fast enough to support the SS and nothing’s working in the SS Troubleshooter guide I’d be inclined to take it back to exchange it.

Vodaphone supplied the Sure Signal because their signal has become to weak to be reliable at my home. It was delivered to me by courier after a deal was done on the phone. The sales phone jockeys are unlikley to be able to understand the issue and a lengthy chat with some indian chap promissed a reset that seems to have had no effect.
so the solution to a problem has just created more problems.

Either phone 191 and get them to help or let the Vodafone Social Media Team here catch up with your thread.
I assume your not on an eligible contract and using an accepted phone to utilise Vodafone’s Calling Over WiFi ?

Fixed it by myself!
Cleared all fixed ip addresses on the router and all upnp port settings and restarted router with all existing connections except Sure signal. Added sure signal and fixed it with a static address then started upnp port forwarding.
