unlocking my phone

Hi I have a Sony m2 aqua...I have it to my girlfriend to use and now it's asking for a pin as it was locked with Vodafone protect...I cannot remember if I used it or not but would really like to get the phone earlier unlocked...please help

Hi

Have You tried to reset it.

This may help http://vodaemea.pcmqa.mcafeemobilesecurity.com/forgot-password.aspx

Sometimes a hard reset will help as it takes it back to factory reset conditions.

Beware this deletes all data in the phones memory so if you can create a back up.

Select Settings and tap Backup&Reset.
Afterwards tap Factory Data Reset and then Reset Phone.
Choose Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data.
Next, select OK to confirm the whole operation.
Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.

You could also try livechat for help and I have have also read a factory reset then don't set up the protect app on start up worked.

Yes I have tried and in that link it always tells me verification code is incorrect and other punch it in properly

Ah ok.

Well either give Live Chat a try or a hard Reset the phone after making a back up iif you wish to save any data in the phones memory.

Nothing works and I can't go pass the screen that says
my device is locked by Vodafone protect and then it asks for apin

Still nothing guess I'll have to go in tomorrow and see if they can't help out
