upgrade incompetence

So vodafone, can't answer complaints. India can't pass you to who you need to speak to and someone called vivienne can't id me as my date of birth has disappeared from the system yet, people i have spoken to before and after her have managed to id me with my DOB so either indian vivienne is incompetent or everyone else is breaching data protection regulations.

So i upgraded tuesday was told my new phone would arrive thursday but not heard anything from dpd. I have called several times. No one can help. I have tried to use my 30 day cancellation but this is not possible as they have not received the phone back.

So I am left paying for a phone and contract that i can't use as my current phone is rubbish and yet it's all fine because vodafone DO NOT CARE!!!!!!

I would ask Customer service specifically if the phone is In-Stock. 

Vodafone would send an email once a phone has been despatched. It's an idea to check spam email folders. 

A person does have 30 days cooling off period as per the T&C Here.

The first thng to do is to log onto your online account and check your personal information.  You should have your date of birth and home address.  If any details are incorrect, Vodafone should still be able to identify you to pass data protection from your secret question and answer. 

You don't mention which phone you ordered.  It might be worth checking that the phone is in stock.  As soon as the delivery has been processed, DPD always send a text to give an approximate time for delivery.  

If you use Live Chat for account access after the weekend, the Team will be able to locate your upgrade order and find out what has happened.
