wifi calling s8 plus

Trying to set up wifi calling but the option isn't there? Please don't link me to the setup for the s7 as it's not the same. Bought direct from vodaphone.

Ok I'm now confused🤔🤔🤔 i sent a message with what is wrong with wifi calling telling them that no-one can hear me but i can hear them etc and it was being put through to the specialist team to investigate i then get a text this morning saying this.

We?ve just investigated the fault you are experiencing with wifi calling. Your phone is currently running the latest version of Android (Nougat) which regrettably is currently incompatible with wifi calling, as soon as an update is released to Android wifi calling will resume normal service on your phone.

It can't be nougat as my s7 which was running nougat from vodafone then I flashed BTU on it then got wifi calling set up on it and made calls with no problems.

Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to offer any alternative information than the details the Technical team have updated you with. 

As far as we're aware, a fix will be put in place when the next software update gets pushed out.
