blackberry internet service is not working properly

Hi there,

I am currently using a blackberry bold 9700 on monthly plan. I have also subcribe to BIS. 

Before that on os5 my bis is working great but after upgrading my os5 to os6 my bis have problem.

My bis is connected if i turn on my wifi however whenever i leave the house or not using the wifi, the service status for the bis always shows not connected even I have a 3G coverage show on my phone but without the blackberry 7 dot logo beside it. 

I called vodafone so many times and they keep sending me this message to do the setting.

This are the things i need to do

1. pull the battery out while the phone is still switched on.

2. to search manually for network, you'll select a different network other than vodafone, when u get the erroe message just select vodafone back.

3. to send the registration message on host routing table.

Unfortunately, after doing all this setting, my bis is still not working. I hope there is somebody who can slove this problem for me.

was on the fone to one of your colleagues at vodafone. She said to register my blackberry through device, host routing table, register. I received a message back to say the blackberry has been registered to the wireless network, I had already done this several times before she told me to. She said there is probably a fault in RIM itself in sending the information over? and said that I should just try and keep taking the sim card out and battery out for the next 24 hrs. Not really great info i must admit cause this has been not working now for several days. Not nice when your paying for something on your contract that you can't actually use! Not very happy with this, at all.

Same here I need MAJOR HELP! I turned on my phone and some new Vodafone Live has appeared from nowhere and there's no entries in host routing table and when no service books on BIS HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!

NO INTERNET WITHOUT WIFI only hotspot browser and vodafone live very annoyed. Need assistance.

I really need help ASAP.

Am Using Blackberry Vodafone 9860. My problem started when I have problem with the OS7 which I flashed the phone and reload OS 7.1 on it.

It works fine but my BIS doesnt work on it, had to downgrade it back to OS7 which came with it (7.0 Bundle 2406 (v.7.0.0585, Platform 5.0.0.734) and still, my BIS doesnt work.

I have called my network provider  and they gave me different tips but all not working (Advancing system settings > Hosting Routing Table > Register Now) and I have done hard rest a million times all to no avail.

I even go as far as deleting all the list on the service book but all still not working.

I really need your help guyz. I stay in Nigeria and am using MTN Nigeria
