Hi,
I upgraded my full fibre broadband and expected to receive a new router.. Current one is out of date and constantly failing.. Apparently activation is tomorrow but there is no router on my email confirmation and nothing has been dispatched.
Absolutely rubbish! I will now cancel the upgrade.

You haven't said just what service you are upgrading from and to, but if they are both non Pro II services there is no reason to expect a new router.
If your current router is failing, you should get that resolved as a separate issue to the upgrade.
