Do not believe anything Vodafone tell you about broadband installation. They promise the earth to get a contract order, but as soon as Openreach do the survey that shows additional poles need to be installed, they unilaterally cancel the order. This is to ensure they avoid the installation & compensation costs. Not only do they do that, they NEVER reveal the real reason for the cancellation.
Save yourself the time, money on wasted phone calls and WALK away from them.
