So after years with Sky I took the plunge and decided to move to Vodafone as it was cheaper and 10x faster with the Full Fibre 910 package.
Ordered on 19th June and the max router, extender and 4G backup arrived the very next day - installation booked for 12th July - was well impressed at this stage...
Text message received from City Fibre on Tuesday th July that installation would have to be delayed to a network issue.
I've been in almost daily contact with Vodafone via live chat and they said next update would be 19th July from City Fibre and try again after that.
I've tried again yesterday and this morning and still no update on when I can expect an installation and its now almost FIVE weeks since I placed the order - very disappointing and shattered the original optimism I had for service.
They have agreed I am due £6.10 in compensation and that now totals £73.20 to date but I am now wondering ifI should just stick with Sky as never had issues with them and it was just the faster download speeds via Fibre I wanted.
Unfortunately, City Fibre are the only providers to my flat in a block which has already been pre-cabled by them so I don't understand what the issue is ?
