Engineer didn't show up for my broadband installation and I can't rebook it

My broadband was set to be installed on the 19th of December so I booked the day off to be there for it. I was told I'd get a call for when the engineer would be on the way but got nothing and they no showed. It's been a week since and I've had no messages updated me on if it's getting rebooked, I can't rebook it myself, and I can't log into my Vodafone account until my broadband is connected online. Your communication has been shocking here and it's genuinely making me consider cancelling and going somewhere else

Might work out cheaper with the amount of times the same person has to ring up and get passed around with excuses

And not to mention the frustration/stress that causes.

But I'm only here because it was the cheapest option for me. If their prices were higher, I would never have joined.

@gipjon you can't go elsewhere for services like FTTP with cityfibre as Vodafone are “partnered” (also know as monopoly) on connections for the first year after the Fibres have been laid.

I'm praying for Openreach FTTP to get to my street soon as then I can go elsewhere for my service.

FYI for anyone how's interested in the Openreach roll out of FTTP https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/where-when-building-ultrafast-full-fibre-broadband

Only if it's Openreach.
