Pro 2 900 price quote different to e mail confirmation

We've just placed an order to upgrade from FTTC (which was only giving us 10M down) to Pro 2 900 full fibre.

We were told £53 / month and a 24 month contract with £18 discount for 24 months, but the e mail confirmation says £73 / month and £15 discount  for 24 months!

I think the £73 and £15 discount reflects the normal £58 / month, not sure where the agent for the £53 and £18 discount numbers from.

As the account is in my wifes name and she's currently away there's nothing  - all very confusing.

Why can't VF just keep it simple and not fudge figures with discounts etc.

I'm minded to cancel and start over elsewhere....

oops typo they quotes £55 month not £53

Off the top of my head, I can't remember the prices I was quoted when I enquired about upgrading from Superfast 2 to FTTP 500, but I can tell you it was significantly higher than the £31/month I now pay to BT for 900 FTTP having switched!

Many thanks for that link showing various prices etc.  Looks like they forgot the extra little discount for our mobile device - will have to speak with them to confirm.
