Upgrading from FTTC to FTTP

Can anyone answer a few questions I have about upgrading from FTTC to FTTP. This is due next week and the order and confirmation emails I have received about the upgrade are a little bit contradictory regarding the VF router. The first confirmation email has a line of text that says "The equipment we'll be sending as part of your order will be shown in the table below", but the "table below" referred to in the email is blank but the table headings are present, namely "Item Delivery address Estimated delivery date Delivery method". However, the last email I had about my upgrade order said a router will be sent out via DPD 2 days before my activation date. So, will I be sent a new router or not? If not, will my existing VF Power Hub router connect OK to FTTP connection given that it's currently configured for FTTC? I currently use my own TP-Link modem/router with FTTC for which I have the VF DSL broadband username, is the VF DSL broadband username used when connecting to FTTP or is it now redundant? Thanks for reading.

When I upgraded from FTTC to FTTP I got the same info about them sending out a new router. But no router came and the router I had was reprovisioned automatically for the fttp.

Please wait for the fttc to die before connecting to the fttp, to make sure things happen in the correct order.

As you already have the power Hub, I doubt they will send another router. After the FTTP goes live you will likely need a new PPPoE username and password for the TP-Link, so don't immediately worry if that stops working.(the old U&P may work for a while before it dies)

I would suggest you factory reset the power Hub and get that working on the FTTP  first to ensure the Vodafone provisioning works.
