Hi,

When I connect to the router via Ethernet, I get the speed around 900mbit but with my Wi-Fi 7 device, I can't get more than 500bit.  Is that normal?

Have you actually confirmed the connection is wifi7? 500Mb sounds like wifi5 close to the router.

The device is actually my mobile phone. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Okay. But is it actually connecting at wifi7?

I've just checked and it's WiFi 5.

Is it because of the routers limitations?

Which router do you have. Wifi5 connections are typical for the THG3000 (wifi5) router, but I get 1600Mb from a wifi6 router so I'd expect similar from the latest vodafone routers.

Apparently I have a THG3000. I have recently upgraded to 910 package. Doesn't Vodafone suppose to send a compatible router too?

The THG3000 is only Wi-Fi 5, so it won't matter what the phone is.

As for the router, I would say they should issue the new router (Power Hub) when upgrading, and they have once people have had problems, but it doesn't always seem to happen.

I've contacted to customer service, but they were pretty useless. They just use copy and paste responses and didn't offer a better router. To be honest, this is ridiculous. Paying for a service but not receiving a compatible hardware. Do you know any router that I could get 1gb connection speed that would be compatible with Vodafone?
