The flat we are moving into is (according to the previous tenant) best served with Vodafone fibre - they tried other providers, and it was apparently slow, slow, slow. I'm very conscious, however, of the fact that Vodafone have ranked last (for two years running) in customer performance in the annual Consumer NZ survey. For this reason, I rang Vodafone to ask about open ended contracts amshowbox nd found out that they do offer these even though they are not advertised on their website. In other words, if I pay for the modem up front ($150), I am not locked into the 12 months period advertised on their websitspeed test e, and I can leave them easily. I had two questions in connection with all this that I would appreciate peoples' views and guidance on: (1) Can anyone who has knowledge of Vodafone fibre modems tell me if they are able to be used with other broadband companies in NZ? In other words, would I get my investment in the modem back? (2) If something goes wrong at the installation stage - i.e. there is a serious delay getting connected, is there generally a "cooling off" period with NZ Internet providers, where I can change my mind about going with that provider? Thanks for any comments!

Hi @YekinKebo! This forum is for Vodafone UK customers, we wouldn't be able to give any advice on your connections or speeds in NZ. I'd recommend reaching out to your local Vodafone store or representative through here for help with your broadband options 🙂
