@PhillipMS4 Do you have places with a poor signal? Is it a house or flat? Modern building or old? Could you use cable or must it be WiFi? Have you done a WiFi audit?
Without understanding your circumstances it's hard to advise.

Building is 1950s, and I needed one on previous router due to only one signal bar in extn. I fitted new THG3000 router, connected and set up current booster and linked it when I try to connect it comes up with message no internet secure, discussed with Vodafone who state it needs another type but won't tell me what. Hence my problem

@PhillipMS4 What type is that booster? VF's help-desk have been known to be wrong.

They have rarely been known to right.
If your current booster worked with the previous router, it should work with the Vodafone one.
But, personally I have very little faith in "boosters".

@PhillipMS4 Well the name would have been easier 😁 But thanks anyway for all that info. Whether or not you could connect to the router I think that it's not worth the effort as it's 2.4GHz only.

A 2.4Ghz signal is better than none at all. 🤣
