CityFibre into the home

Hi, so I have just ordered a broadband package, but I have a few questions that I have now need answered.

at first, I thought it would be a BT open reach line for the telegraph pole currently supplying copper, but I have discovered it is a CityFibre install.

We have the black ducting under the pavement right up to the wall of the property.

How does this get into the property from here, there is no ‘drive way’ or space between this box and the wall to run the cables.

Does the brown box need to be fitted to the outside of the property, or can it be like the BT lines that only connect to the ONT on the inside of the property.

Thanks in advance.

Without seeing your order @informanunit, I can only provide a general information about this. If you've ordered a Gigafast service, we'll use the CityFibre cable and the engineer will make the necessary changes to fit this and get your service up and running. If you've not ordered a Gigafast service, your connection will most likely be provided through the existing BT cable.

If you'd like more specific information, pop us a message through Facebook at Vodafone UK, or on Twitter using the handle @VodafoneUK and we'll take a look. Alternatively, give us a call on 191 from any Vodafone number.
