Hi,

I want to move my THG3000 wi-fi hub. What internet cable would you suggest I use? ADSL or VDSL. What internet cable is fitted as standard?

Thank you.

A DSL cable is basically the same for both ADSL and VDSL. If you want to get a longer cable between the BT socket and the red internet socket on your router, just make sure the description says DSL cable. Do not use a phone extension cable.

Would you recommend an ADSL or VDSL cable for the Vodafone router?

Thank you.

Either. They're the same thing - DSL cable.

Hi,

Is there any restrictions on the length of cable?

Thank you.

Not really, as long as it's twisted pair (which it should be if it's being sold as a DSL cable). The signal has already travelled from your cabinet to the master socket over twisted pair, a bit more won't make much difference.
