I've just moved from plusnet to Vodafone (fibre broadband).
Today was the switchover and Internet isnt working with the new router. I've been through the usual steps with support and they raised a 2nd line ticket which could take 3 days.
But I noticed that I can perform a dns lookup from Windows and that is working fine, it just can't connect or ping anywhere once it's resolved. So I don't think the problem is a problem with the line or the hardware.
Anyone else experienced this? Is there anything else I can try (I've done all the usual stuff, rebooting, different cables, reset, different phones, pc connected with Ethernet cable same issue every time.

If it's the same problem I had when I joined., you will probably find you can connect to Vodafone sites. https://www.vodafone.co.uk/
If it is the same as me it's because your content controls aren't set. Best thing to do is log in to the router and change the DNS settings to something else. I suggest 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately no go. I can't access vodafone websites either. But using a different DNS server does result in a failure. So at least I know the vodafone dns servers are working but nothing else is.

In that case it sounds like your router may not have been "provisioned" correctly. (Vodafone's name for registering it to your line)
I would have a go at disconnecting it from the line, doing a factory reset (preferably though the setup pages or by holding the reset button in for 10 seconds) and then giving it another go.
If you have been given a fault case reference and a phone number for second line I would ring tomorrow, don't wait for 3 days, they probably won't ring.

Thanks. That's where I'm at now. Done a factory reset with their support and now got a fault code and waiting for their 2nd line. I may try calling tomorrow though rather than waiting for them to call me. Thanks!
