Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone can help me.
i moved into a property in 2022, which had a fibre cable going to it off a post on the road. I have a junction box outside and an ONT box inside. Im currently on a fobre deal with Vodafone which gives me 100mbps. When I entered the contract with them, I could get any speed I wanted, but 100mbps was ample for me. Now my contract has ended with Vodafone, im now paying a higher price. But I cant go anywhere else as apparently, the house isn’t registered for fibre. Vodafone are saying it could be because im on partial fibre, not full fibre, so there’s no room at the exchange. If I were to leave Vodafone, I wouldn’t be able to get a quote off anyone even so im stuck. Anyone else experienced something similar? How do I contact openreach? Vodafone are adamant that they cant do anything.
