Stay with Vodafone with FTTP from Freedom Fibre?

We are soon, it seems, going to be having fibre brought to our road (in Shropshire) by Freedom Fibre.  They're being cagey about whether in order to use their connection you have to sign up to one of their tame service providers, or whether they are duty bound to connect from pole to house & leave the householder in charge of how they use use it.  Anyone know the correct position?

Thanks

Hi @PeteBartram, I don't believe we work with Freedom Fibre but after they install the fibre in your area you can check our website to see if the service is available after the installation.

Hi @Tal - thanks for that.  No, Vodafone are not listed as partners of Freedom Fibre according to  https://www.freedomfibre.com/residential; there's TalkTalk & then a host of other providers I've never heard of.  My question was really whether Freedom Fibre - or any company instaling fibre to meet Govt targets - can insist on householders using one of their providers if they put in the connection.

Most Full Fibre suppliers (probably all) do not make the final connection to the home until there is a contract in place.

Thanks @Tal and @Jayach - so far Freedom Fibre have said  'If you choose to join us as a residential customer, we are pleased to be able to offer you full fibre connectivity directly to your premises' , which implies you have to take one of their contracts to get connected from pole to house, but I've asked them the question directly.  Presumably if the much-heralded copper switch-off happens, we would have to use them rather than Vodafone.
