Is there a router shortage?

Hi all,

Was looking forward for the switch to full fibre 910 today, however I still have not received my router. Order was placed back in early Jan.

Contacted Vodafone who said they would put a manual shipment in, 24h delivery, nothing. Contacted again, they asked me to wait for longer. I see some other people had similar issues before, but don't know what really happened at the end.

I work from home and mobile service is pretty much non-existent inside my house so I can't really afford not to have broadband.

Anyone experienced the same but had it all sorted out? Don't know if there is a shortage of router or something and they are just stalling.

Question: Have you been receiving regular email updates from vodafone and oenreach/Cityfibre regarding your order? If you haven't been kept up to date with your order it's highly likely your order hasn't even gone through.

Yes, I've been kept up to date with e-mails and SMSs, and cityfibre even came this morning to install the ONT. I did contact vodafone via the chat as I mentioned, but still got no news from DPD about any delivery.

thank you!! I had contacted VF twice already via the Tobi chat and both times I was told a manual shipment had been arranged, however nothing ever happened. I decided to try the socials as you mentioned and this time the manual shipment was indeed arranged! I don’t know what’s the difference between both channels, but I’m definitely going to be using the socials if I ever have an issue again.
