We are purchasing a property which is part of a private estate of five houses. Vodafone of course says they can provide full fibre. City Fibre also says there is full fibre in our area. The question is how will you install the fibre to the premises without digging up our private access road, which I am sure our new neighbours will not agree to?

Hi @HomeMover , if City Fibre say it's already available, that means we may only connect your home as the lines have already been installed in the estate previously, if they haven't we may need to dig to provide the service.
You can check with your neighbor's to see if they already have City Fibre lines or using them with other providers that should answer the question if they already have installed them or not in the past.

Thank you for replying. None of our neighbours have fibre, and the estate is ten years old so there is only copper cables in the estate. Can they pull the fibre through the copper cables services

Thank you for confirming that @HomeMover, in that case the engineers will likely have to dig to provide the service to your home and depending on where the cable starts they may dig the access road as well.
