Hi...I'm freaking out here.
I am trying to link my Asus router in Access Mode to the Ultrahub. I also have a phone line so they both need to be connected.
I have tried the ethernet from ONT to the Asus - nothing happens and Have connected both together - ONT to Ultrahub LAN and Ultrahub WAN to ASUS LAN and again nothing. It's impossible to get to the ASUS GUI as It won't connect to the internet.
I actullay had this set up recently without any issues (had to do nothing) and have also reset the Asus to factory settings via reset button and did the set up as described in the manual (which i didn't even read before...Please help is you can - TIA

Okydoke thanks for that...I'll give it a go - worth a try until the "second level technician" calls. But OK to do with the Asus... I'll never complain about Leeds again - and I don't mean that in case VF are reading lol

@P1x3l8 You haven't been to Leeds then?🤣

Lol no bi'm there in spirit or hope to be after several 30 minute restarts! I'm actually now looking at who is available in Glasgow with a lower latency for my gaming as this is ridiculaous now - My BQM is now showing packet loss and never had that before either!

@P1x3l8 The timing of the packet loss looks odd. It's too equal at 2pm and 6pm. Is there anything on a timer in the house?

Remarkably those small packet loss blips seem roughly 30 minutes apart. That would coincide with your restarts surely?
When you go to bed tonight leave the router and ONT switched off then boot them up when you wake. I hope you don't need connectivity for alarm calls lol

I think asked previously but it wouldn't be anything to do with the AIMesh set up would it?

Nope. Totally unrelated.

Thanks - Ive tried tge unplug ONT and router past two nights but no change im afraid - except of course with my gaming which has become far less enjoyable and generally very frustrating. May i adk if i ditch my ststic ip and return to a dynamic, could that improved anything?

"May i adk if i ditch my ststic ip and return to a dynamic, could that improved anything?"
Ah, I forgot about that. Maybe, yes. My experience has been theat the gateway switches within a few weeks of going back to a dynamic IP - I know, not as fast as anyone would want, but it's happened twice now for me.

Hi all and Merry Christmas
Little update - Spoke at length to the second line person (again) and was explained to me that my line had been checked by City Fibre and Vodafone and was in good condition showing normal speeds and that latency issue did not fall into the fixable category as it's not in the contract. Further, I requested to switch back to a Dynamic IP and presently waiting for that to happen - Now around 16 hrs later so almost there as they said 24 hrs. I was also advised that although my Gateway initially was bearable and they elected to change it to Birmingham, that even if this resulted in making the issue worse, I could not claim for that and such, if I wished to leave I had to pay the leaving fee. I also asked about downgrading from the Ultra to the normal hub as it doesn't really offer me anything and was told I can't downgrade mid-contract?
