Is anyone available in support? Have spent two and a half hours on hold but was cut off. Have emailed, contacted via DM on Facebook, Twitter and your website. Posted on FB message board too and still no response or help?

Whats the issue? I work in this industry will help if I can. Just to warn you though the Main Openreach contact centre in India has been locked down. Not much Openreach can do at the moment other than some non appointed tasks such as cabinet and exchange work no house visits right now.

It's just completely dead, no connection on any device? And is making an odd clicking noise like it's trying to reconnect but doesn't?

Is your landline working? If so disconnect all equipment from the telephone socket, remove the front faceplate you might need a screw driver to do this then connect directly into the engineer test socket preferably with a new micro filter and internet cable that goes into your router from the telephone socket. But before doing any of this make sure you have at least turned the router off and back on.

Thank you. We've done the usual turning router on and off and also a reset. Finally got through to someone and it's literally starting working again. I'm chasing to see if this is a once off or due to Covid-19 and WFH demands is it something we can expect a lot of? Have you heard of anything similar for people?

The BT Network are mainly dropping live SIP traffic at the moment to make way for VPN this is peaking in the morning so it's more calls than anything that's affected. The Core BT data network is well below max capacity its more local aspects of the network where bottle necks can occour things like steering servers DSLAM failures etc If your connection is back ask them to run a KBD to check the line itself. Also they can check RRT data to see if the line has been historically unstable
