Hello,
I am frequently having internet drop outs, despite it being 3 days since activation, and wondering what the problem is.
I have tried the broadband test several times and it tells me to turn the router off then turn it back on again. This does work, but for only about 10 minutes to an hour, and then we have to do the same thing again just to connect to the router. Because the line works well when on, and there was no problem with the line when we were with BT Broadband, I suspect it's a router problem as all devices get kicked off, but the connection light still shows as connected.
We also have digital voice activated, however this has never worked either since activtion.
Hope this is resolved soon or we will have to cancel the service within the 14 day clause allowable by law as we do not want to be in a 24 month contract with non functional internet,
All the best,
Oliver

I've posted this on another thread, but I'll include my comments her as well, it may help.
I've had vodafone broadband for 5 weeks, and my wifi kept dropping every 10 minutes. I've had this problem from day 1, but despite several attempts, they wouldn't investigate the problem until after the 14 day free contract cancellation was over.
I've also been told that its a wifi extender problem. I have a TP-Link extender which has worked flawlessly with a PlusNet and 2 different BT routers.
To try and cure the problem, I bought a NetGear extender. Same problem only now the disconnects only occur every hour. Still an annoyance when your streaming a film.
Of course it's not a vodafone problem, "Vodafone does not guarantee wifi connectivity" I've been told by support.
Advice I've been given by support is to
a) buy different extenders until I find one that works
b) upgrade my broadband to the version which provides a vodafone extender
c) move to another provided and pay the early termination fee.
And it's taken hours of my time to get to this position. I wish I'd never switched to vodafone.

@takky6445 If you are on FTTC, that's copper wire to the house, then you are interrupting the line conditioning process by turning the router on and off. Leave it alone for 48hrs which leaves time for it to settle and still time to jump before the cooling off period.

Experiencing frequent internet dropouts and issues with digital voice activation is understandably frustrating. Given that the line worked well with BT Broadband, it does point to a potential router problem. Contact your internet service provider's customer support and request assistance in resolving the issue. If the problem persists, exercising your rights within the 14-day clause to cancel the service may be a viable option.

What absolute scum! I am glad that I have already evoked the cool off period and I am leaving, even though that leaves my parents without a land line for now.
And their WiFi extender would not help, we got the pro package and the only redeeming feature is it had a SIM I could put into an old SIM router to use for internet. The extender did nothing.
