I have just moved from virgin to Vodafone after a delay of a week I finally got my internet working yesterday  after alot of phone calls and not to mention the inconvenience 

My landline was connected on 6 august but since openreach connected a mastersocket none of my extension phone sockets work  has anyone else faced this problem and how did you solve this as i need to have those working again

You most probably have the Mk 4 VDSL Filter, the home wiring will need to be connected to the removable face plate. See the Mk 4 instructions here:

Hi

I assume the extensions are wired into the VM socket?

So any pictures could help.

 

And they may be needing re-routing.

Just to re-iterate a point.....

 

If the extension sockets are, like mine were, connected to an NTL/VM wallbox then testing the line will not achieve anything towards getting them working.

 

Physically moving/re-connecting them to an OpenReach wallbox might.

 

Hence a picture or two to enlighten us.
