Laptops Can't See Router

Hi, first post. This problem is really puzzling me. LAN won't connect to anything but WAN connects to everything apart from my laptops. My laptops can see other networks in the area but my Vodafone doesn't show at all. I can connect my laptops to the internet via an Ethernet cable. 

I had big issues connecting my printer wirelessly but somehow I managed it in the end.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

@Cymroffyddlon Well that's good news for a small expense. It would be interesting if there was some response from VF to say whether a certain WiFi chipset was not compatible with their router.

I can ask the question but I’d be getting way out of my (IT) depth……..

I'm moving my office into the room where the router is and I'll connect via Ethernet. I had a helpful bloke on we chat but we got cut off. Fed up of trying to fix it tbf.
