My computer doesn’t find my Wi-Fi

I bought a new pc last week and as i wanted to set it up but I couldn’t find my Wi-Fi. Weirdly enough The pc is able to see all other Wi-Fi’s in the are except mine. Also there seems to be no problem to connect to my phones hotspot and connecting it via lan cable to the router also works fine. My router can use 2.4 as well as 5 Ghz so that surely can’t be the problem https://kodi.bio/ https://mobdro.bio/

The WLAN Card I use is the ASUS Pce n15 if that is important in any way.

Pls help me I tried so much

I wonder if the drivers are set to use the US channels. In the US they only use 11 channels whereas in the UK we use full-fat 13 channels and it may be that your router is using channel 12 or 13 but the WiFi card isn't seeing it. Only vodafone can change the WiFi channels these days.

For anyone else with suggestions the pce-n15 is only 802.11n/b/g capable - 2.4Ghz.

I agree with @Ripshod , that card is only 2.4Ghz so the fact that the router has 5Ghz is irrelevant.

It is almost certainly because the router is using channels 12 or 13. You can check if that is the case by logging in to the router, and check under Status & Support.

Personally I would put that card in the bin and get a Wi-Fi USB dongle that is more capable and can use 5Ghz. That is what I did when I bought my last PC.
