Connecting the Power Hub to a Deco Mesh network and legacy 2.4g network kit

Hi everyone

I was just in the process of setting up a move to Vodafone Broadband and thought I shoul check the Power Hub routers compatibility with my current kit prior to clicking the go button.

I have read quite a bit about older legacy 2.4g bits of hardware not connecting well, if at all, with the Power Hub is this something that others have suffered from?  In my case this may not be an issue as | currently use two Deco Mesh M4R plugged into my Virgin Router in Modem only mode, and this does allow for 2.4g and 5g separate networks,  has anyone out there successfully connected similar to the Power Hub?  The comments so far I have seen is that it doesnt have a modem only setting, will this set up work if I plug the Mesh into the Ethernet on the Router and disable the WiFi? Any help would be appreciated before I commit to moving over from Virgin Media

Regards

Paul

Further to the above I have been reading more,  the prospective Vodafone link will be FTTP I understand that the connector will be an Ethernet so would my easiest solution be to connect the Deco Mesh straight to the FTTP connector and not connect the router at all? How would I obtain my login credentials if this is the case.

Thanks again for the raft of questions

Paul

@BurgoFox If you type "how do I get my logon credentials" into the Search Bar then you will see the answer.
