I currently have a very unstable broadband due, I suspect, to the VF supplied router.
Current setup is the VF router and then the Tenda Nova MW6 connected to it in bridge mode.
I wanted to get rid of the VF router and replace it with an openreach modem (HG612 3B). My problem is that I can't get an internet connection on the MW6 in pppoe mode. I got the user id and password from Vodafone and verified they are correct by connecting my laptop to the modem and creating a pppoe connection from the laptop.
Has anyone used the Nova MW6 (or MW3) in a similar setup? There isn't much setting to play with. It's just UserID, password and service name/server name (which are optional and left blank).
Is there any limitation on the MW6 in the way it authenticates to vodafone?
