PS5 crashed and burned

I’m at my wits end! I recently upgraded the latest Vodafone router and all was running perfectly until tonight. My ps5 CAN connect to either the WiFi or LAN but it can’t get past the router to the internet. I’ve rebooted, I’ve reset, I’ve even changed the DNS settings but it just will not connect to the internet. I get the same message, “your router may be blocking your internet connection”! Help

I have the same thing since yesterday on both ps5 and xbox .Everything else is working fine and both consoles were working fine up until this morning

Both connect to the router fine then won't connect to the internet

I have dozens of these errors in the logs

ff02::1%guest@br-guest is an IPv6 loopback to the guest WiFi

Guest wifi is turned off

That doesn't matter as the firmware seems to try unless you turn off IPv6.

How do you turn off Ipv6?

 

I have the exact same issue as the OP and it only started yesterday. As a work around I've setup a hotspot on my phone (which is connected to the same WiFi that is giving me problems) and the ps5 can connect fine to that and access the internet. I assume I need to change a router setting but I can't see one..

I've got IPv6 turned off as well though so that error doesn't make any sense

Exact same issue with my PS5 today. I’ve just started a new broadband contract with Vodafone today. Everything is working fine , except my PS5 won’t connect. Hoping there is a quick solution from Vodafone.
