Router Compatability

I recently changed my broadband connection from BT to Vodafone.I now have a THG3000 router.

Unfortunately my WattsVision heating controller will not connect to this router  (it  should connect by wifi and has been faultless with the BT router).

I connected it to a Virginmedia router at another property with no problems.

Any idea how I can make my controller connect via this router?

@Cliveb93  WV make a number of products, is yours on 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz or both for WiFi?

I suggest setting up a guest network, has fixed many wifi connection problems in the past. More recently disabling IPv6 on the router has fixed some elusive problems.
