Hi,
My order has been cancelled twice without my knowledge and vodafone have advised that I need to get in touch with open reach to change my silver address to a gold address. After spending hours waiting open reach have advised me that Vodafone need to send an ORDI request which is standard procedure and cannot help on this matter.
Please can someone help as I have been stuck without internet for a month after Vodafone have already cut my internet off after being with them for 6 months. They registered my address incorrectly with BT and now I have to go through the whole installation process again. Vodafone have denied responsibility for an ordi request even though they carried one out first time round. Vodafone, please get in touch ASAP.

Hey @5cott, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to provide a timeframe for when an address can be changed to a gold address. This is because we rely on work from third parties such as Openreach to get things full sorted. We'd recommend that you keep an eye on the website though, as once we do have the information, we'll make it available on the website too 👍

Hi
Section 3 of
https://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/products/downloads/dialogue_services_product_guide.pdf
3.4 Create temporary ALK functionality
For unknown addresses/ Greenfield sites, a temporary Bronze ALK is assigned and the address is stored
against it. If the address is available in any of the sources PAF, Address Base Premium and Pointer,
a temporary Silver ALK is generated.
This temporary key can then be used to enter a new provide order in the same way as a Gold ALK is used.
IF VodaFone cannot or will not raise an ORDI try another ISP, OpenReach seem clear that they can and will provide to a SILVER ALK and then upgrade it to a Gold on their system.

Hi
This is hard work https://uprn.uk/
For further information on UPRN's, please visit
https://www.geoplace.co.uk/addresses/uprn.
https://www.findmyaddress.co.uk/
So find my address . co .uk only works on my phone, not my laptop, but it did give me a matching UPRN to one of the open UPRN . uk listings.
NOT quite straightforward, and for a block of addresses may be no use.
