Today I had a problem where I was unable to connect to only one IPV4 address from my Hub using both Wi-Fi and ethernet. Everything else worked just perfectly. This IP was my hosting site so I use my phone (not wi-fi connected on EE network) and I could access this IP with no issues at all. I contacted my hosting site and confirmed that my IP used here was NOT blacklisted. I could access the DNS servers fine and when I tried to ping by host name the name resolved correctly to the proper IP address.
I decided to reboot the router and found that once it came back up I could now connect to this previously uncontactable IP address with no problem at all.
In all the years I have been using the internet I have never had a router fail to connect to one unique IP address. This has to be an issue with the router but I am at a loss to determine why this happened.
Anyone any ideas or have seen such an issue before?
