THG3000 Multiple dropouts

Hi there,

Does anyone have experience with this router and why we're getting multiple dropouts each day now?

Open reach have been twice now, and no problems on second visit (yesterday)

First visit they moved master socket to lounge, but initially fine for a for or so, then router starts dropping out again.

Is the router just a cheap and poor quality??

We're on the brink of cancelling our contract now...

FYI, speed is not the issue,  as we get 76mbps.

8 devices connected, not all in use at the same time.

Splitting network into 2.4 and 5ghz makes no difference.

Hi @0469yeosport, from your message it looks like you're having the drops over a WiFi connection. If this is the case, can you tell us, do you have any devices that are connected to the router with an Ethernet cable? If you do, are you experiencing any drops on these devices?

Hi there,

We don't use any devices with the LAN cable, as it's not practical for us.

Regards

Richard

Thanks for letting us know @0469yeosport. We can take a closer look into any drop outs you're experiencing when on Wi-Fi. Please drop us a message on Facebook or Twitter and we'll run further tests to find out what may be causing this. Please be aware we may need to complete a test on a wired connection to rule out any causes.
