THG3000 router firmware out of date

My router is currently on firmware version 19.2.0307-3261013

I'm having problems with cloud streaming on the Xbox and I wanted to eliminate the firmware as being at fault as it's quite a long way behind the latest release.

Doing a manual update check fails after 5 minutes, is there any way you can push the newer firmware to my router?

I thought I'd check again.  I've been trying since the router was launched years go!

Oh and the automatic update has never worked either...

What firmware do you have at the moment? Mine is still 19.4.0551-3261103, which I believe to be the latest.

I’m still on that version too.

Then I don't think there is a newer one available.

I've been here for just over 2 years and in that time I've had:

19.2.0203-3261005, 19.2.0307-3261019, 19.4.0551-3269082 and now 19.4.0551-3261103.

I do remember that when the router arrived it had 17.something.

I have the exact same version, and it's the latest.

@sat505 as you're on the latest version then automatic update must be working fine.

@Ripshod Nope. I have to factory reset to get the updates when I know they’re available. As stated earlier I was many versions behind at one point until I realised auto update was broken.

Just like @Jayach I started on 17.******** years ago. Automatic update does work, but like a lot of things it's controlled by vodafone. With 1.1million+ vodafone routers out there if everyone updated at the same time the servers would collapse. Like any isp with their own routers the roll-out their updates.

reconnecting your router forces reprovision and an update. You've found the way to force it but there's nothing wrong with the automated system.

So why was I 3 versions behind last year and 6 months behind on the last version? Why have I never had the update via the check for update option?
