THG3000 with Mesh ?

Currently have the THG3000 with Gigafast 500 and looking at possibly adding a TP Link Deco Mesh system as I live in a 3 storey house where the THG3000 is in the centre floor.

Been getting some wifi reception problems especially in the kitchen and with constantly adding smart plugs and other things that use wifi I am thinking of the TP Link Deco X20 as it's got wifi6 to work with the Samsung mobile.

I understand that I'll need to turn off the wifi on the THG3000, anything else that I need to know before going ahead?

Thanks

So were you able to try it yourself yet?

Hi - I'm buying some deco x20s today - would be good to know if anyone managed to plug the Vodafone router into the Decos for voip.

Thanks

I recently switched to Vodafone but have been unimpressed with the wifi range so far (compared to the Sky router that it has just replaced). I'm considering getting a couple of Deco's (XE75) but I have a landline so I'll need to keep the THG3000 for that.

This may be a daft question, but the above thread talks about connecting the Deco to the ONT, then plugging the THG3000 into the Deco. What is the reason for doing this rather than keeping the THG3000 where it is (connected to the ONT), and plugging the Deco into that?

There would be no point doing that, it wouldn't get the phone working. This is an old thread.
