Unable to access router settings (192.168.1.1)

Internet/WiFi all working fine but just wanted to check one of the port mapping settings only to find that the router settings page (192.168.1.1) will no longer load. No error messages or timeouts, the page just does not load and sits at 'Waiting for reply from 192.168.1.1'. Is it possible to reset just the HTTP protocol rather than the whole router?

Aware that I can reset to factory settings but this would also wipe what I was originally hoping to check so just wondering whether anyone had come across this before and/or knows of any solution.

Unable to access via Vodafone app too, which looks to have upgraded to latest version 5.5.0 but which I believe to be compatible with my THG3000 router being VOX 3?

Somewhat stumped and confused by lack of any response at all. At least if I got some sort of IP address error I could investigate further but don't know where to start with this.

Try 192.168.0.1

Many thanks for taking the time to reply but the address for my router is definitely 192.168.1.1, as per my network default gateway & DHCP assigned client address.

Have you powered it off and on again?

Have you actually restarted the router? That won't change any settings, but will restart the firmware..

Thanks for replying @Jayach, I have indeed tried the old turn it off/on again, remove power for 30 secs, etc several times, to no avail.
