Hi,
I'm looking to move from my existing Virgin Media Broadband to VF's FTTP 200mbps plan.
I have a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X which works fine with VM's modem, I can just enable modem mode and my public IP is passed to the WAN interface of my EdgeRouter.
Is there a way I can do this with Vodafone's FTTP? I don't want to entirely replace VF's router, as I think it's needed for their VOIP phone.
Is there a modem mode/DMZ that will achieve this?
If a DMZ is available, can I add static routes for my subnets on VF's router?
Will the VOIP phone service still work?
Many Thanks

FTTP doesn't need a modem, basically the ONT is doing that job. So when used on FTTP the THG3000 is just a router.
It does have DMZ capability, but I'm not sure that will help.

Thanks, but if I wanted to use my own router, how easy is it to get PPPoE credentials?
And if I connect my EdgeRouter directly to the ONT, I don't think I'll be able to use the VOIP services.
So I thought one possible solution was to use a modem mode/DMZ, which essentially port forwards all ports to the EdgeRouter. Which still allows me to use VOIP, as I can plug a phone into the THG3000.

Dead easy, just ask on live chat. https://www.vodafone.co.uk/bbservcd/

That's correct, although some have apparently been able to use alternative hardware, but it's far to complicated for me to understand. https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Landline/Landline-phone-with-own-router-on-FTTP/m-p/2713237

There is no modem mode (see my earlier reply) and I'm not sure putting it in the DMZ will be exactly the same, as it will effectively be double NATed. If you do try it, let us know how you get on.
