What should my connection look like?

Hi everyone,

We've moved over to Vodafone from Virgin Media, and had the connection fitted yesterday. I've set up the router today, but we are concerned that we haven't got the right product.

We signed up for Unlimited fibre 76, but it doesn't look like the installation instructions for fibre connection. We had one wall box installed, with connection ports for both phone and internet, both through the landline. However the instructions show a separate box on the fibre connection, like we had with Virgin.

Can anybody advise if we've had the correct service installed?

Thanks

As you are on Superfast, the fibre connection is only to the cabinet in the street, the connection to your home is copper (FTTC).. It called fibre because it was the first service that used fibre.

The newer services are Fibre to the premises (FTTP) and would have a fibre connection box in the home.

So yes you are getting the service you signed up for.
