Where can I find the settings in my fibre router to change the wi-fi channel from auto. The model number is THG3000.
Currently it has me overlapping significantly with by far the strongest signal in my locality and it is obviously causing me unnecessary connection issues.
What criteria does the router actually use to determine the best channel? Because mine has determined the absolute worst and there doesn't appear to be a way to fix it manually.
Solved! Go to best answer.

You can't, as a search of the forum would tell you. Vodafone removed this option years ago.
However, it is still possible if you can find and use an old version of the Vodafone app.
Version 4.1.0 is what you need.
It is strange how poor the Vodafone router is a choosing the best channels.

Cheers for this.
I had gathered that there was no way to change it manually via the router interface from previous threads, but I also wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the situation via the Vodafone forum (have a whinge).
I wasn't expecting a quick workaround however, which I am very grateful for.
v 4.1.0 wouldn't connect to my router for whatever reason, but I have just manually changed to channel 3 (the least-crowded band) using v 4.0.6
You are a gentleperson and a scholar, I tip my hat to thee oh forum sage of excellent advice.
